ok so i have a 94 gt automatic blah blah..... in 3rd gear ihave this problem... i can be on the throttle in 2nd gear and when it shifts to 3rd my rpm's will go up slightly and then slowly come back down to idle levels, all the while im applying more and more pressure to the gas. when i get to the point on the throttle where it goes into over drive, it does so and everything is fine again till i come out of overdrive. anyone got any idea as to whats goin on?

if u'r reverse has not gone then the tranny does not need to be replaced. It might be the pump going, umm if not then may just be getting a worn tranny how many miles u have on it that would help a little too
