This will probly get burned, but I'm so ****ed right now. I ordered a CF hood from RSM almost 2 months ago. They said that It'd take 3 weeks to get here, that'd be before christmas. It's now Jan. 13! I"m so sick of calling RSM and asking about it, that I just called JSP (the manufacture) and they said it'd be here by the 7th. They finally gave me the shipping companys name, and tracking #. But now, they've passed it to another company. Is anyone a lawyer or know what can be done about this? :rage:

I was planning on buying a bunch of RSM stuff: u&l intake, tb, heads.....I even thought about asking for some sponsership, not anymore.

Relax man, give it some more time, breathing down their necks is not going to get the hood there any sooner. Later if anything. If you do not recieve the hood by the end of the month, then look at your options. Many people have ordered things from various places on this site and not everyone recieve the parts on time like they were told. My ram air hood didnt make it to the shop on time, I just sent an email and they responded promptly with, sorry about the delay but it will be there on this date for sure.

How did you pay for the hood? If it was credit card, you can call you credit card company and hold the payment to RSM if need be. It sounds like your jumping off the plane before it starts to go down.

^ And besides all that, RSM has a really good reputation here, so for whatever reason you might be the crappy exeption. It sucks to hear, but give it time. And whatever you do, don't call them and be a d*ck about it.

some stuff is worth waiting for....My focking SC/T kit took like 3 months or more to come in and when it was shipped they sent me the wrong sideskirts (4-door instead of 2)....so then it took another 2 weeks to get those....some stuff just takes a while......After 2 months I totally gave up calling anyone and just smiled and said it will come when it comes....and it finally did. :)

I beat you all I got in on a group buy for an a-pillar pod, took 1 year and 1 month to finally receive it...yep you read that right. 2 months is nothing stop complaining RSM has a good rep.

I know, its more the shipping company. Its still not here! I call and they tell me "it'll be there between 8 and 4", so I have someone there all day waiting for it, but no show. And I'm waiting for it so I can drive my car again.

it was ****ed up in the wreck and istead of replacing it with an oem, i wanted cf.

Thirteen months wait does not consitiute a good reputation in my book.

well the hood got here, but its a p.o.s.! since my brother is a body man, he notices things like fisheyes, and clearcoat over-spray, and dents(he said they looked like hail damage), and the corners arnt rounded, and the mis-drilled hole for the latch bolt, and the cf weave has a few f***ed up spots in it. So I'm gonna call RSM on monday and see wtf I can get done about this. Basicly my bro said that it wasnt worth the $700.

Just to lit you guys know, RSM does not make the hoods. So you can't blame their manufacturing for it.

Yeah, I'm really sorry to hear about the quality of the hood. I am almost 100% sure that RSM would be ****ed to hear that a hood they sold was not top-notch.
