Ok I figured it would be good to make a new thread for this instead of it being at the bottom of the sac meet thread... We will be having a meet sometime in april probably in vacaville or fairfield... Anybody have any suggestions for dates? I am up for whatever dates you guys are as long as I know a few weeks in advance. Vacaville is a good middle spot between Sac and SF because a couple of people mentioned they don't want to have to drive 3 hours for a meet. it's about an hour and a half from sac... so not too far... Specific location is up for grabs still.

is this a "local" get together or something us in so cal should try and go to? just wondering if its going to be like a lets chill at krispy kreme or a all day thing. who knows if ill be able to go but im curious.

not sure yet... if we want it to be an all day thing, we can, and I would rather that than driving 2 hours to sit at a krispy kreme for an hour or less. I think everyone would agree that that would be retarded. so let's plan out something to do for the day... maybe meet in the morning at a starbucks or something for a start? a lot can be done in a whole day so if anyone has ideas, let us know

April... Hmm sounds pretty good looks like I'm going to be moving in to my new place early to mid march. So thats plenty of time to get settled (im not moving far anyway) and get soe $ saved up. Seeing as how i FINALY have a job that pays well and is easy to take days off from this sounds promissing. I think my GF would be down for a road trip. Ill call it a mini vacation! sounds better. muahahahaha! :cool:

how easy is that (fairfield) to get to... coming from the 5? i looked at the map real quick and looks like id be driving through the bay area freeways. I hate bay area freeways :(

Fairfield is not to far away from Sac (the real capitol of California:D ). It is only about 35-40min, give or take depending on how fast you drive.

The easiest way for ya is to come up 5, then head on 80 west towards Fairfield.

Where is Fairfield. If I am coming down from the HUGE town of Klamath Falls, I need some directions please. Thanks. Also, what would be happening, just a get together, shoot the $hit type of thing?

The best way for you is to come down highway 97, which meets up with I-5 in the town of Weed. From there, continue south through Redding, Red Bluff, Willows, Woodland, etc. South of the Sacramento airport is the I-5/80 West interchage. Take the 80 West towards San Francisco. Fairfield will be about 35-45 min away.

As far as plans go, maybe a cruise somwhere and definitly hanging out.

Yea, when we had our meet last July, well, it was the coolest day of that month, and it was at least 90+ that day. Was crazy!

Prowler, Solano Mall's parking lot may work, let's just jope mall security is not anal like Roseville Galleria was. I am not familiar with the area though. I am also thinking maybe that area around the Jelly Belly factory might be good as well.

Hey, the Jelly Belly factory area would probably be the best, there are a lot of open areas there. If I get a chance I will cruise up there on the weekend and locate a place that would be suitable.
