Yeah, it should. My front speakers had a buzzing sound to them and my dealer replaced them for free. However, the buzzing sound still exists and I am out of my warranty. It's only annoying to me b/c I am anal like that. I plan on upgrading all the speakers in my car w/in the next year so I'm not real concerned about the problem anymore. Good luck!

My left rear 6x9 blew about 3 weeks after I got the car. Was replaced no questions asked. :)

Buy some bass blockers. They are made for special for each size of speaker that is produced up to 6x9's.

Sounds dumb but it helps the overall loudness of the system without blowing out the speakers and all you need is a simple 10 inch sub to replace the bass you were getting out of the 6x9's. Its cheap, simple and lets you really crank up the volume in the car.

I did this with both my 1999 Z24 and the GAGT. And just because they are called bass blockers doesn't mean they block all the bass, it just allows a certain amount to the speakers depending on speaker size. They only cost around 15-20 bucks for a pair and they are easy to install.

i also have a crackly front passenger side speaker. will they cover it if they know you have a system. i mean, then they would know why the speaker is doing this cause the music was too loud. i dont have to take my system out of HU do i. stupid questions, but im curious.

They shouldn't use speakers so easily blown... or they should cap the signal to something safe for the speakers...

Otherwise, they have to cover a blown speaker.

Hmm would they replace/repair that trim piece next to the window that has the tweeter in it? Only had the car 2 months and already something is happening; that plastic trim piece is falling out. Argh.
