I was wondering what is the best repair manual out there? There is Haynes, Chilton, or official GM one?

The official GM service manual has the most detail and costs the most.

I like to opt for the GM service manuals. The other manuals usually cover alot of years and don't help as much if you're doing something very specific and complex. But, you'll be spending about $200 on the GM ones. If you're a do-it-yourselfer though, it'll pay for itself the first time you do something you've never done before and would have cost you $800 at a shop.
But, if you're just looking for the basics on maintenance and stuff and you'd probably take it to a shop if you had to swap a trans or pull a head, you can get along with a Chiltons or Haynes ok.

You can get a copy of the electronic software dealers use on eBay for 25-40 bucks. It has all the service manuals from 1998-now, for all GM vehicles.
