I just thought I'd make an update for the boost bros. I went to the track yesterday and ran 2 new personal best times. 14.444@92.97 and 14.46@94.14 (with a 5.96 r/t). This is over half a second better than my previous time. Between them I added a random tech downpipe, CAI, thermostat, and DHP revised shift program. The air temps were a lot better this time too (about 60 instead of 94). The programming worked really well. Shifts were harder and faster, and at higher speeds. He raised my rev limiter to 6400rpm and shift point to 6300rpm. The 1-2 shift comes at 44mph now and the 2-3 shift at 80mph. This means I stayed in a lower gear with a better ratio longer before it shifted to 3rd, and with the raised rpm's I'm now seeing a maximum boost of 8psi without having to change a pulley. I just thought you guys would find this interesting :) . I had never thought about the effects of increased engine rpm on boost.

I have an ASE chip with my SC and your DHP program seems to do same. I'm pulling 6300 rpm shifts and very good power. I'm sure a new lower record time, will be set by the Boost Bros. at our next track day. I know my car feels like low 14's now. I would love to do a triple-digit trap speed. It may happen. ;)

Yeah, I got a program with your name on it ;) :D . We'll be dyno tuning within the next 2 weeks. Still have a few things to test, but the shift program's running great. Time to see what kind of power we can make. My program might not work well for you since you have more mods and a smaller pulley. You might want to go a size bigger. He might be able to add a little fuel and back off the timing a bit to account for your extra boost though. I'll ask him.:)

I'm just curious. I was looking at your guy's n-body entries and am wondering why jaketuff isn't faster. He has done so much that I would think he would hold a record. It just puzzles me.

Aaron, how did you get down into the 14.4's??? Is it the recent downpipe, plugs, etc., air quality, or are you running NOS???

Just wait till East Coast hits the track. There may very well be high13's(Spaz) and low 14's(Jake and myself), if conditions are right.:D

Nope, no nos.:D Just the new mods and good preparation. I've been getting lots of practice at the track so I'm running pretty well. Got the car to under 3000lbs w/o driver by taking stuff out and running with 1/4 tank of gas. Back tires at 34psi and fronts at 25psi. Just stuff like that and some good weather and viola! 14.4's. :) I'm betting if they have good weather both KmanGT1 and jaketuff will best that.

I will be at the track in November. I will establish a new personal best. On the fastest run I have had (14.83) my tranny shifted into OD 3/4 of the way down the track. Right now my tranny is better tuned in than then, it takes a long time for the car to adjust to mods...;) Not to mention that the track temps will be better when I run November.

Cool, thanks man. I am not here as much as I was before the site went down so I figured I missed something. Been kinda in that car lull since I am S.O.L. on moeny for mods and some little sh-thead dented my car. Congrats on the times Boost Brother.

Care to elaborate?

I removed my rear seat, passenger seat, floor mats, spare tire/jack, and all other useless junk in the car. I then weighed the car on the scale at my work with me out of the car and 1/4 tank of gas. It weighed in at 2,990 lbs. With 200+hp at the wheels that improves my power to weight ratio to better than 14.95lbs./per 1hp.
