Ryan, just out of curiosity, will you ever have some sort of online ordering process, or is that just not happening? I'd be willing to pay a little more for my vinyl if I didn't have to go through the process of getting the MO and mailing everything out, not to mention that the whole order would proecess quicker, shipped quicker, and received by your customers quicker... but I'm sure there's many other things that effect this, like being in Canada and stuff. I read your bit on accepting paypal, but there must be some other cheap alternative to accept credit cards online...Just wondering. Thanks!

Hey Currie,
Not that I have much of a problem with shipping things but have you heard of BidPay.com yet? Run by Western Union they're MO's that can be bought/sent online. They send the seller a confirmation as soon as it's bought by the customer (though the actual MO still travels by snail mail), so the seller can send out the product ASAP and still be sure he'll get the payment. The only downside is that there's a service charge for the customer
:( .

I bet most would be willing to pay the service charge for some type of service like that, considering it would GREATLY speed up the whole process. When I want vinyl, i want it NOW, hehe.

Hopefully I'll have something in place by the end of September - I'm still ironing out details with my bank. Perhaps PayPal's service is better now that they've been acquired by eBay - I will be exploring that option as well.
Its not that I don't want to offer an easier way to pay, its simply that there aren't a lot of feasible/cost-effective options for me given that I'm in Canada... I haven't had the time to research/implement something.
As for BidPay, I hadn't heard of it, no, however, if someone wanted to use such a service, I wouldn't object... its definitely mutually-beneficial (unless, of course, the MO gets lost in the mail - that could be a problem!).

Move to Michigan....live in my basement. That's cost effective. We'll slide food under the door and give you power for your computer and vinyl plotter.

I see...that's good to know ryan, I just think it would make the whole process much easier, and potentially give you more customers. I know it took me several months to order stuff from you because I didn't want to get the mo and send it out and all that...but i couldnt resist once you got the GTX badges with reflective borders, lol...people are lazy these days, if you can't buy it on the internet then dont bother....looking foward to your new system, and doing business with you in the future, thanks for the reply.
Steve
P.S. GRAND AM GTX badges (black with reflective red border) look awesome, you're the man.

Yeah, sorry about that Alex. I didnt have any left and didnt have time to cut them before shipping your order. I figured you'd rather have your decals and wait on the GrafxWerks decals as opposed to waiting for all of 'em! :) Now lets see pics!!

Yeah, I noticed that option in my online login a couple weeks ago. Its also free until the end of Sept. I believe. Inter-Canada only, so not the ideal solution, but its a start!
