the inside turnsignal in the right headlight does not come come on when i have the headlights on. but when i go to make a turn and use the blinker it blinks. why would it not be on when the headlights are on? i didn't know if i needed a new bulb because it works when i use it to signal. is there something wrong with it, or do i just need a new bulb?

try removing the bulb and turning turning it 180 degrees....sometimes i have noticed with the 3157 bulbs they will work on one side better than the other
did i make sense?

Many bulbs have two filiments for two functions. In you example, turn signal and parking lights (on with headlights). You may have one filiment out, and need a new bulb. Since it works on turns, I would guess that the wiring and socket are ok.
