View Full Version : Fiberglass "cover"

I think i spelled that right.....anyways i want to make a glass cover for my amp rack mounted to my back seat.....to hide the wires.....i think using a template outta would will be to thick and take the flush mount look away.....whats the common approach....i was thinking cover the board in wax paper so it dosent stick.....or maybe even cardboard.....thanks for anything Justin

normally when fiberglassing they use masking tape to cover where you are molding, but don't want it to stick.

Actually Aluminum foil will not stick to fiberglass or the resin at all, as long as it's relatively smooth.
Foil is definitely the way to go :thumbs:

can you add anyother insite.....a friend said to staple fleece down....but how would i get it back after i staple it.....
