Hey guys, thanks to everyone that replied to my first posting about a month ago. It was not the rack and pinion like some garages said. I took it to a back yard mechanic and he showed me it was the pump. The pulley on the pump could be pushed in and out by an inch with the slightest touch of your finger. The insides are gone on the pump. I have a sound understanding of mechanics on replacing parts but can someone give me the just on how to go about doing it. Proper steps and or precautions, or just go for it. Please email me a message or post instructions on how to do it. The guy in the garage can not fit me in for just over a week, His rates are great at $45 an hour. Thanks everyone CHeers

Directions ~ Generic

Disconnect battery
Take the belt off ~ tensioner
If the altenator is in the way remove
Powers steering lines should have clamps connecting to the pump
If not clamps and are lines use a LINE wrench ~ save some frustration ;)
right after removel put bolt (clean~new) in the lines or pinch lines
~don't need to fill too much after installing~
~mark lines so they are not switched~
Pump should be bolted on through the pully holes
Might have a bracket on the back by the manifold remove those bolts.

Hope that helps some
