In my Haynes book it doesn't specify whether or not to have the cap on or off.
Can anyone tell me?

I had it off, but I don't know if it matters, anyone else?
When the bubbles came up it overflowed, so keep the level low, yet high enough to not suck new air(if your replacing the pump)

Let the car run with the cap off. The air bubbles will bubble out. It sill make alotta squealing noises for awhile. Just keep topping it up intil it's full. The squealing will go away after it get's fully lubed.

Thanks, I got it on and bled it without, but I missed Filter's response... the fluid is still a little frothy, but I'll try to leave it runnin with the cap off like filter said.
Also, if this doesn't get the air out could it be something else causing it?
