I had a '01 GT. I loved it. I have been searching for another '01 or '02 (price range), although I found a very nice '98 GT with 38,000 miles much cheaper than the newer ones. Wondering what you guys think of the older gen GA's. Any input is helpful. Thanks

i have a 97...its alright, but i think the newer ga's are much more sexier, and there seems to be more aftermarket for the newer ones too...dont get me wrong, i really like my ga, but i like the newer ones better...im hoping i can eventually get a newer one.

but just remember, its not what we like, its what you like. :)

I had a 96 GT with the 3.1, the motor ran great, never had problems with it, just everything else, trans (72k miles) alt(65k) window motor (40k), and broken hazard switch( 50k) Cheapest fix was the hazard switch, $380, all work was done by a stealership.

I dunno about this one. I like the newer models better, but finding an older model with that few of miles is a find almost equal in my opinion. If you're worried about aftermarket accessories, I think any GA looks great with only a set of nice wheels and some window tint.

The last gen ones look nice too. But I wouldn't get a older one than what you have now.

Well thanks guys, I am gonna stay on the hunt for the newer gen. I have the exhaust and other stuff from the totalled car left over and also the stuff that I never did install. But thanks for the replies.
