i was driving my 2003 gagt home from work doing around 80km/h.....all of a sudden my car shut off..the car coasted towards the red light...thankfully it restarted but the security light stayed on until i got home and restarted the car....any suggestions?

Could be your battery cable/connection. I had this problem with my old bonneville. Drove me NUTS until I figured out that was the problem.

I'd just take her to the dealership.... let them figure it out.... take a GTP as a loaner.

just take it in and they'll scan the code. probably something to do with a misfire.

code? would they pick one up even though no dash lights are on?

mine did that when it was new coming home from Atlantic City. I was racing when it happened too....embarassing...but I pulled over and started her right up...never happened again...delaer mentioned the limiter might have hit me....dunno....i go well over that speed since then and it never came back
