I have a 2000 GA and I have a slight problem...the black molding on the rear bumper is starting to separate and buldge out on the left and right corners...

I have the 6 year warranty but I'm curious as to know if anyone here has run into this problem. Sorry the pic is so blurry, but you can totally see the two sided tape coming apart in there.

Has anyone else run into this before?

I just noticed this on mine as well. Not as bad as yours. Haven't had a chance to get it looked at. Will keep you posted.

I have the same problem - but I know the cause of mine. I was involved in an accident a few years back with a deer. It trashed the whole dirvers side, from headlight to taillight. Just behind the door, the molding is coming loose too, which is held together by the double-sided tape. The body shop told me in climate changes, especially from winter to spring, that it would come loose. I guess they use a heat gun to keep the adhesive from coming apart. Hope this is a little help.

I had the same thing a while back. Mine were right above the exhaust outlets. Had it replaced under warranty.

i have that problem also, people told me to try JB Weld but haven't yet. Going to soon cuz of the warmer weather so I hope that sould work. One guy told me that he used some crazy glue and it hasn't come off since.

Just use windsheild Urethane to glue it back in place. It will never come off again, also remains flexable unlike superglue. I doubt JB weld would work.

Had that exact same problem twice now....fixed both times under warranty.
