Seat Squeaking

My driver side seat is squeaking when I lean back. Do any of you have this problem and how do I go about fixing this.

yep annoyong as hell my 2001 does it too,, i wish there was an easy fix..

mine sqeaks too.

I took it to the dealer and told them about the seat when I was geting something else fixed. They fixed it for awhile then it came back again.

Mine squeaks too! Real pain in da butt. Don't care though. I am getting rid of the car in August and getting an 04 Subaru Imprezza WRX! I'm done with Domestic cars after this damn grand am!

My drivers seat also squeaks. The dealer replaced the height adjustor assembly a few months ago, but the seat still squeaks. At least, I think it's the seat. Mrs. Daxx tells me the seat if fine and it's my ass that's squeaking. :D One day I'd like to replace the front seats with a pair of these Corbeau TRS (http://www.corbeau.com/brochure/TRS.shtml) seats.

same thing here, just put the music up alil bit and voila, easy fix, lol. wish i can get rid of that damm noise though

lol, my passenger seat squeeks too. Maybe it needs some WD 40.

I don't know what the hell is squeaking is there a spring in there or something?

Mine was squeaking too, but then I used the height adjuster and moved up about halfway from the bottom. Seat doesn't squeak anymore:P

I also noticed that less lumbar support you dial in, the less squeak you'll get.
