well im gonna change my plugs today. what is the gap i should use? i have exhaust, cai, and a pro-m maf. do i use the factory recommended gap, or do i change it due to a few mods? or does the mods really matter?

factory gap is .060

well just changed my plugs. the old ones were gapped at .075 x2, and .070 x4. i gapped the new ones to .060. when i was done, i fired her up, and stood behind my car. it use to not be a smooth exhaust note, like kinda rough. now its smooth at idle, the exhaust sounds like one note. :) just put a new tank of gas in. gonna see if i do any better gas-milage wise.

I changed mine about 2 months ago and my gap was 10 over too! my gas milage is no dif

The material deteriorates over time, this is why older plugs are usually 'gapped too high'. Most likely they started out at .060.
