Hey y'all. Yet another newbie here :) i bought my GA about 2 months ago, its a 2000 se sedan. I dont know much at all about my car and im looking to learn all i can, ive only owned hondas, and my sprint car but thats got a chevy 350 in it. Kay now, this may be a dumb question but i searched and couldnt find anything. I know there are a bunch of different trim levels (se se1 se2 gt gt1 gt2 etc.) but a) what are all the different trim levels and b) what options(?) does the car have with those different trim levels? im trying to figure out how to word that.. so uh. yeah. anyways. Hi :-p

:welcome: to the site!
I am not sure about all the trim levels, not a 99+ expect here.

welcome! i know the GT models get the raim air v6, the front is different, as is the rear and the sides. i dunno about the later models. i think the sides are all the same, smooth and all. maybe have a lower side skirt. steering wheel controls for the cruise control and radio, leather, the chrometech wheels. the options and stuff were different from the 99 model year, vs. the 2004 as is the style a little. but for a complete list of options and stuff like that for the 04, i'd suggest www.pontiac.com, and then just look up the grand am.

They did have an SE, SE1, and SE2. They were basically option packages. Not sure what they all included, but I do know the SE2 had the V6 engine. Then there was the GT, which only got 2 option packages. The sun and sound solid value package which added the premium stereo and sunroof as standard, and the GT1 package which included every option avaliable except leather seats (which most came with anyway). You can tell a car is a GT1 because they are the only ones that came with steering wheel radio controls.
Btw, welcome to the site. :)
FYI: There's no GT2 unless you own a porsche :)
but welcome to the site anywayz
