View Full Version : Squeaky Brakes

I replaced my brakes a couple of weeks ago, and soon after they began to squeak when the speed drops under 20km/h. Also when I go into a turn I hear brushing noises. I re-checked all bolts and what not to make sure everything was tight and in place, and it was. So what's the deal then? Crappy brakes maybe?
Thanks for your help.

maybe cheap pads? I had various noise problems with my factory brakes after i replaced them they would creak and squeak a little while stopping.

yea you might have to get new calipers. or check the pads again. after i changed my brakes they started creaking. i changed to a different pad and the creaking went away. Do a seach for this and you'll see its a commom problem with the grand am.
