got a question for all of you. i got an AAS front end and i installed it with my dad yesterday. the only places that i could anchor it are the 4 push pins on the top, the three bolts where the fender and front end meet and the plastic wheel well part. is there more to it than that? its on there pretty sturdy im just curious as to if there is more, i was just noticing that there is like 6 more anchor points on the stock bumper that i wasnt able to use. any input?
Tony
It looks bad ass by the way. i love it, now just gotta have it painted.

I did the 4 on the top......6 on the sides and i also drilled the fender liners in too so the bumper wont stick out too far.

i guess the ridgitidy of the fiberglass makes up for it, when i took off the stocker i could almost bend the darn thing in half, i was pretty suprised, so im ok then. ive got 16 contact points holding mine on

Does anyone have a diagram that shows all the anchoring points that you could use for the whole AAS kit? I`m gonna be getting the kit soon and wouldn`t mind having some type of diagram to go by. Oh yeah and also i was thinking about getting the AAS kit off ebay because its pretty cheap there. What do you guys think about buying kits off ebay? Has anyone else here bought one off ebay and if so did you have any kinds of problems wih it that you wouldn`t normally have because i know all bodykits have got to have some kinda bodywork done to them to get them to fit right. Hopefully someone can help me here.

My best advice is to just have someone help you hold the bumpers in place , mark the stock mounting points that you can use, and try to make the holes similar in size and shape as the original bumpers holes are. As for the side skirts, all I can say is good luck, there is no stock mounting points you can use. I ended up molding my whole AAS kit in. It looks sweet in the end, but it's a ton of work to get all the lines right. If you want to mold it in, use a good two-part epoxy as a strain reliever between the fenders and bumpers, then fiberglass/bondo the lines until they look good.
