i'm dave, currently driving a 1992 firebird conv with a 305. it's a blast to drive, but i'll be getting rid of it before too long in order to get a more "gas-efficient" car that can actually be driven in the snow. my last car was a 1996 grand am se and was a great car, and i figured i'd go for a '97/98 GT. do most people on here have 1999-04 GTs or are there folks with earlier models?
so anyways, i was just saying hi. here's a pic of my car if anyone is interested. more at http://www.cardomain.com/id/underdave

Whats up man. There are some people floating around with < '99s but not many from what I've seen.
About getting another GA, I would figure getting a '00 or even a '01 wouldn't cost you much more money than a '98 though (I mean these things have horrible resale value), yet would be in probably better shape(less mileage and so....) but you might find a steal of a 97 or 98....
EDIT: BTW nice Firebird

Hey welcome to the boards!!! there a a hand full of people with pre-99 GA's i dont know what kind of moding your planning to do but anything before 99 is going to be pretty hard to get aftermarket products for. most everything is made to fit the 99 + GA's just FYI.
