Speedometer and guages won't turn on!

Hey,
I was pulling into my garage yesterday, and all of the sudden, the red that lights up the guages in the front just turned off. The light will not go back on, even when adjusting the brightness knob on the left of the steering wheel. Any suggestions for a fix. Also, what fuse would that be for those lights.

Take a look at u'r owners manual for the correct fuse.
Do the rest of the lights come on in the car or is it just the cluster?

I have had the same problem since I tried installing a set of vent lights.
Haven't had time to figure it out though.
My speedo, HVAC controls, and window and door lock switches don't light.
I bought a new dimmer switch thinking I had fried the old one by using the dimmer circuit as the power for the lights but it wasn't the problem.
