HOW TO: Change and Gap Spark Plugs

Tools:
Ratchet with optional twisting feature (Makes job easier)
Spark plug Ratchet
Small Extention
Universal
Large Extention
Vice Grips or Needlenose pillars (to pull Spark Plug Rachet off PLug when it sticks)
Spark plug Gapper
Oil

Note: Always check Gap when Replacing Plugs.
Note: If changing wires,number each wire to its plug.
DO ONE PLUG AT A TIME
Tip: Remove wire in a twisting manner as level as possiable to plug.
1. Remove old Plug.
2. Take new Plug and check the Gap with the Gapper /Correct Gap : .060
3. Dip your finger in oil and lube the treads on the new Plug.
4. Replace new Plug and tighten as much as you can without breaking the plug.

Note: If changing wires
5. Lube end of plug with solution provided in box of wires
6. Replace wire pushing directly level to plug until you hear a snap.

Tip:The back three are the hardest to both tighten and loosen. Buy a Ratchet with a twisting option with extentions and a Universal. It will save you a lot of time and trouble.

Tip:Make sure the back three are tight or you will hear a plug shoot out while driving!!!!!

Tip: If you hear a tapping like sound after replacing plugs when running. One or more of the plugs is not tighted enuff.
