Alright guys & gals,

Here's your chance to get to help make some noise in the grand am community and turn some heads. Lets get a good turnout for this cause it's an opportunity for everyone to hang out and meet everyone and check out everyone's nice cars and all.

Open to ALL N-body cars(Aleros/GAs) stock or not.

So here's what i've got going so far(details are still being worked out)

-Meet @ Race Rock in Orlando on International Drive
-We'd park like its a car show and all that
-Go in and have lunch in a Conference style room
-Go back out and just hang out and talk and all that
-Maybe take the cars for a cruise down International Drive
-And possibly more

Date is AUGUST 21st
This gives everyone a chance to get their stuff together and get the alotted time off work or whatever. It's the 4th saturday of the month...lets make this happen!

For those all who drive up from south FL or come down from North FL...I can get you guys hotel accomidations with a good group rate if you guys need/want.

Like i said this is all still in the works but lets make this good.

Ive got class Tuesdays, and Thursdays, Cant go wednesdays because of class work. Then Ill have to take off work, which requires 2 weeks advanced, so you guys will have to have a DEFINATE date set, for me to even begin to think of going

I dunno what you read in Super Street but Daytona in Feb is jam packed due to Speed weeks. Speed weeks basically being the ROlex 24 hours, And Nascar/Busch races.

Alright times getting close so how does this work? We just go up to old town, oh yeah i have a parking place for suggestion i guess, unless people actually wanna show there cars. The red lobster right next to old town has a big parking lot in back which is normally open. Not sure if we actaully all want to park in the same spot.

Let's start getting some more info like time, exact place (whether it be Red Lobster parking lot or not), directions, and gameplan. We definitely have the opportunity to make this successful!

Here is a little map i have of overhead few of old town so you all can physically picture the area.


The parking on side of old town that says old town parking gl on getting cars next to each other there its always crowded.

The parking behind the pool bar is normally corwded to due to the bar.


The parking spot way in back of redlobster is always empty exept for a few vehicles sometimes. So perfect spot for like 10 or more cars to park right next to each other. The downside its not in old town exactly but right next to it, the walk is id say about less then 50 yards. To the center of old town.


So look over the map all see if u see a spot u like ill see if i can remember what it is from memory.

2)This is gonna be just like The National Corvette Rally they had a few weeks prior which was crowded as hell and fille dup the huge field they use for general parking. We'll wanna show up early.

As for a meet up/parking setup I'll come up with a plan for that ASAP!

Well my boy with his T/A is showing up at my place about 1030-11ish. I'm still waiting to hear back from my boy with the 04 gto but yeah...

There's a Burger King right NEXT to old town... that will be the meeting place. Old town is off 192 (you'll see a it. Three big white poles in the air, two other poles in a V shape. There's a burger king right next to it all. We'll meet up in that parking lot and then go in to park from there.

Also i was browsing thecar show page and you guys with nice grand ams might wanna show..You might have a chance at taking home a trophy because it's going by class and make and such. Which means the Grand ams might have their own class if they show? but if you guys decide to show Registration ends at 11 so you'll have to get there earlier. So its up to you. I think it'd be cool to see one or two of you take home trophies.

But anyways. So there it is.

Well lets see...

I got there a little past noontime. No one was around. I parked my car and walked around a bit with my gf. Then I see Ktown about 15 minutes later. After hollering his name, he responds, "There you are. I saw you pullign in at 12" I'm thinking to myself, if you saw me, why didn't you effin' flag me down. Anyway, I ask where they parked and if anyone else was here yet. He told me where he parked, which only god knows where that was. Then he said that Nirbush's car was parked behind the building that was behind BK. I moved my car over by Nirbush's.

Now, it's supposed to be a GA meet. I saw Ktown, but not his GA. I saw Nirbushs GA, but not him. I didn't even get a chance to meet him. I got no pictures of any of our cars together. I snapped a couple pics of Nir's car by itself tho and a couple of mine by itself but that was it.

All in all, it was not even a meet. At least I had a good time with my GF. Maybe there just wasn't meant to be a SE meet.

I never met up with what I though was nir..I had seen it when we were walking over to the Drag simulator and figured it was Nir. cause of the sc/t and all. But anyways.. I like how you vanished on me Mike lol. You were like "i'll be back" yet you never did. Anyways i dunno about you mike but I enjoyed it. Maybe cause I knew alot of people there.

As for my GA not being seen...that's a good thing cause it's a major pos right now lol Leaky LIM, Squealy right front, unwashed in a month, and it's owner longing to replace it with a trans am :)
