Okay, I want to hook my IWFG to my parking lighst but I need to run wire from the dash to the fuse box under the hood. What is the easiest/safest way to do this? I don't want it to be outside or anything like that. Thanks for help.

Don't do that, tap your dimmer

How exactly would I go about doing that? What wire would need to be spliced into? I just need the power wire hooked up to somethign so that when parking lights are flipped on the cluster turns on.

I would like to know this also. I tried to splice my neon light to the dimmer and failed. Now the dimmer switch does not light up anymore. There's like 7 or 8 wires.

Look on Guru's page about the gauge pod install, you should be able to use a dimmable circuit to trigger those indiglo gauges... He has pics of where to tap

Sounds good... I found the instructions to tap into the dimmer switch but the thing is the gauges already come with a dimmer switch. So, if I were to hook it up I could dim the gauges via the dimmer switch on the car or the dimmer switch that is with the gauges. My only thing is that there might be too much interference since it's going through two different relays or whatever it goes through. Will there be any interference at all or what? I just don't wanna tap into it and find out that I'm going to be getting too much resistance or it won't be getting enough power. Does that make sense?
