Hi everyone! :boogie: My wife and I are new to the site. Just purchased our new GAGT1. I was not aware of such a "cult" for these hot rods. I'm excited about learning more about our ride and look forward to really hopping it up to perform. C-ya in the forums...

Beware.... theres a lot of people on this site who have a GAGT and don't even like them. You'll always see people dogging their own car and talking about how much it sucks compared to others makes. But don't let them discourage you..... be happy with your car.... overall, its a nice vehicle. Welcome to the site.

^ Exactly, i see others diss on GA's on this site every so often, but you will find that people here mostly are into their Grand AMs, and work hard to customize and care for them

This site is very addicting, ive been here for only a few months and have close to 200 posts, im on here every day.

When the day comes that i get rid of my GA (hopefully not for a very long time) i hope there is a rehab center for people addicted to this website!!! lol

This site is the best. It has helped me out so much on how to do things and what to stay away from

Point Mugu is about 1 hour north of LA, and about an hour south of Santa Barbara. If you've cruised down Pacific Coast Highway and gone past the shooting range, you've gone past us. There's a Navy base right close by. I am sure I will begin finding my money getting sucked into this thing though. I am never satisfied with just a stock car or truck. We have a Jeep Wrangler that wasn't 3 months old and we had it lifted, locked, new shoes, etc... We're spoiled I guess!

You guys are nuts. I've been here since around 2K and you guys have surpassed me! LoL

Anyways, thanks for the info FLP. Never been there but the area sounds familiar. I'm originally from the Bay Area but now I'm living in San Diego. I'll keep you updated if there are any meets that pop up down here.

Compared to our lifted Jeep and the prior Z 71, it is a hot rod. I've known a couple to be pretty quick for a front wheel drive.

Yeah.... its not exactly a "hot rod", but its pretty decent..... especially compared to what you had before huh?
Most of the guys here won't admit to it..... but our GAGT's are still as fast if not faster then 50% of the cars on the road. (stock)
