Anyone know how to get the black metal trim pieces off of the doors? I am repainting the black metal trim thats attached to the body and would like to remove the door trim as well so that the paint will match. It looks like it slides outward away from the car but it seems stuck down pretty well. Anyone have suggestions?

eww, no.. my roommate worked on it for a while and figured out that if you pull out the window seal (molding around the window that has felt) then you can see two screws. I simply unscrewed those and dislodged a clip at the bottom and they were free. Sanded em down with the other molding pieces, primed and have 2 coats on so far. Going for a third and they should be good as new.
