I am not sure what this is, but when I drive at really low speeds i hear a faint "squeak" sound from the front end. It stops when I step on the brakes. I have 29k miles on the STOCK pads... I have never replaced them... Also, this squeak just started after i took the car through an automatic carwash with an undercarriage spray yesterday. It could have just been coincidental. I thought maybe just the pads or rotor was wet, but the sound still persists. Could it just be time for new front pads? Do you guys think that is what it is? I don't know what else could be making a really faint squeak sound at like 5mph...

Thanks,
Jeff

Time to change you pads. That is the brake wear sensor touching the rotor. You will also want to have your rotors cut or replace them to prevent the dreaded steering wheel shake "aka Warped Rotors"
