Next time I come to Edmonton, you better be around for me to see it! Maybe this summer or the next summer I'll come down there.

Let me get this straight. You have a S/C in that thing but you dont know how to clean your bay nor do you know what an alternator is. WTF?

If wanted to supercharge my GAGT, what brand, how much, where to get it, how hard is it to install?

Thanks

I did not know that. Strange that someone would sell the car with it still in.

Yeah...I thought that too. I wonder how much he paid for the car?!

It dont make sense. The original owner could have ripped the S/C out and sold it for about 5K and then sold the car. But with the S/C in it the car is only worth what blue book says its worth.

yep.. paid 17400 canadian for it.. think thats about 13000 US.... and the guy is a doctor so i dont think he really cared about losing money. Also the dealer installed the supercharger when he bought the car. i think gm was selling them at that time im not entirely sure how he got them to do it.. but i have the invoices showing that they did install it so... guess i got lucky... the supercharer is worth $5000 canadian.. well thats how much he paid for it

and as for cleaining the engine bay.. i think i know how to do it now.. i found out where the alternator is :p. ill try cleaning it within the next week and see how it goes.

and thanks for the welcome guys. i want to do a number of mods to this car inluding
1. possibly adding a custom exhaust depending if gm will let me without voiding my warranty.
2. tinting all the windows
3. adding a sub or 2
4. custom wheels (even though the stock ones are pretty nice)

****ty mods that ive already done:
1. painting break calipers
2. adding reflective tape to the gt symbols

im just waiting for my next paycheck to upgrade the stereo

elliot123, you have a collectors item on your hands. Keep it clean, keep it running top notch and treat it like its made out of gold. You have a MAJOR rarity.

You are one lucky SOB for sure. You would have an easier time winning the lottery than finding a GA with a S/C installed by a dealership or finding a GA with a S/C period.
