View Full Version : Creaking not in the Caliper

I did alot of searching about brake noise, but have yet to find what is going on with my car. When I first bought it, the guy put cheap pads and rotors on it, so I upgraded to thermo pads, no creaking. After doing this though I noticed the brake petal was a little less sensitive than before. The cheap rotors he put on were starting to bother me, so I replaced those. Now.... I have a anoying creaking that I can feel in the petal when it is down about 3/4 or all of the way to the floor. I never used to beable to plush my petal to the floor. It is like evertime I screw with somthing, the petal gets softer and softer. I took the wheels off of the front and listened, it is not the caliper making the noise on either side, it is like something in my petal is screwed up.

Any suggestions,

sounds like you need to bleed the system
