After 3 years of being in Oregon it's time to say good bye :( The good news is, I was offered a job in Snohomish, WA It's great being in a big population again since I will probably be living in Everett. Now I don't have to make long trips for all those NW meets :D I will probably move in about 2 weeks from now but will be making lots of trips up and down I-5 during the move.

Gonna be working in Snohomish? Wow! What line of work are you in? Lumber? Fast food?
But anyway, I hope you get used to pumping your own gas and paying sales tax. Whoo hoo 8.9%
Also, watch out for the Everett PD, they really have nothing else to do but pull you over for going 37 in a 35. The WASP's are pretty nice, same as the Snohomish County Sheriff's Department, but when you see EPD....run and hide.

Wayne lived here in WA for 18 years. He is used to pumping his own gas, sales tax, and the Port Angeles PD which is exactly like the EPD as you described it.

I don't ave to worry about sales tax since I still have my Oregon's drivers license. It comes in handy espectially when I was at Costco today :) I also don't have to worry about paying for state tax now since work in WA.
