I own a 2001 Grand Am GT1 coupe. Not to long ago i had my starter replaced under the extended warranty, due to my car having problems starting. Well today after I finished washing my car, my car would not start at all, so i tried and tried starting it for like 10 minutes. So i finally called the Roadside Assistance and they told me my car had been locked up with the security lock. So they finally told me what to do and boom my car started. But my question is; now that i know that i tried and tried turning my car on for minutes, and probably messed something up, should i take it back to the dealership and try and get a new started just to be on the safe side? What should I tell them? and What would yall have done in my case? Please help me!!!!
