Has anyone ever had to tighten the steering linkage on the Grand Am's? Also, where are the bushings?

Thanks.

Whats the problem that your having that makes you think you need to tighten it. And if yor refuring to the tierod end bushings try looking on the end of the tierods

I'm getting a shimmy in the steering wheel at 70+mph and had have new tires, had the rimz checked, tie rods and ball bearings checked. The shimmy was present before I got the new tires.

Blackrider:

How would I check the hub to see if I need a new one?

Thanks.

Grab the tire and see if it shakes from side to side. also listen when your are making a lane change for a rubbing noise.
