I noticed at slow speeds i have a ticking coming from my front drivers side wheel. I can only hear it going really slow like under 5km. Anybody know what it could be

My bet is a nail or a stone stuck in the tire. Just happened to me.

Pull the tire off and check it out. I say pull it off cuz' i had a nail in my tire and I looked like 8 times (roll car forward inch, turn wheel, look, rinse, repeat :)) and i didnt see it.. Finally by accident one day I finally found it.

You got the new chrometech torqued rims? Mine does that too.

The rims shouldnt tick :) I've got the chrometech rims and my ticking was a big nasty nail rammed in the tire.. Before that, it was a stupid stone stuck in the tread.

You have the 5 star rims right? Our new rims have the plastic caps that covers the nuts. That plastic piece makes sounds.

*iagree* I have the same problem. It has to do with the plastic piece in the center of the wheel around the lug nuts. I also notice it after parking the car, as the wheels are cooling down, I can hear a 'tick tick tick' sound. I haven't tried to do anything about it yet, but it's getting on my nerves pretty quickly.

Thats crazy, i dont hear any ticking from mine.

Wierd.

The center cap shouldnt move loosely, so mebbe tighten the plastic lug covers a bit?

The plastic thing that covers the nuts expands with heat and that makes the ticking sound.
