its really easy and only takes probably 5 minutes
1- using a flat head screwdriver pop off the top plastic piece surronding the shifter housing
2- now using that same screw driver insert it into the little black loops that you will see. Now push out a pull up on all 4 of these things.
3- now all the white holders are out and you will see a piece of yellow plastic. Pull that off
4- now you will see a clear bulb. You can now put any color cap/blub in there you want. LEDs work best but caps are second best as the color will not fade like it will with just colored bulbs
5-now when you reinstall all the pieces dont put that yellow plastic piece back and BAM you have a colored shift bulb
