Hi,

Just new here & looking thru tons of information on here!! I have a red 94 Grand Am GT. I've had it since 98, i'm the second owner, nothing has been really done to it, just keeping it up oh & a k&n air filter.

Lately i've been getting ****ty mileage & I was wondering what sort of things (relatively cheap) can be done to get better gas mileage?

I have a thermostat problem right now and will hopefully get that fixed soon cause in Winnipeg heat is a must!! Aside from that I heard about this site from Videoman on another forum.

Any tips/info on how to get my car to run better would be great!! Thanks!

hey there, welcome to the new winnipeg crew. I don't know much about engine stuff, but the best thing i can say is don't floor it ever, and don't accelerate too much either. Don't cut in and out of traffic, keep with the flow. Sorry i can't help you with engine fixes, but the way you drive is important too.

If you buy an intake you should see better MPG even exhaust will do it for you ask videoman he has the borla
