Major transmission problems on an 02GAGT! Need help!!!>>

What's going on??? I have an 02 GAGT w/ 6k miles. I've babied this car. Oil changed on time, all the proper maintanence. Well, today, I put the pedal to the floor to pass someone. Ever since, my transmission isn't shifting right. In first gear, the RPMS get very high, and the car starts slipping... I don't understand how this could be happening on a brand new car with 6k miles. Do you think it's the transmission? Are the transmissions in these cars that weak? How durable are they? I'm giong to the dealership tomorrow, but does anyone have ANY idea whats going on here?

That is why they have the warrantee. No car is going to be perfect. It is definately not a problem posted very often. My Passenger side window stopped working a few months ago. Does it mean it is a problem on most? No.

Take it in, and have it looked at. You'll might end up getting a transmission with 6K miles less wear and tear which is good for you.

Are you sure you didn't just hit the rev limiter???? Do you know what that feels like.....Cause, 6K on a tranny?? Should be fine, if not, warranty will cover it!!
