Well thanks to BFGoodrich it's now possible to fit 20's on our cars without any major suspension modifications.

The only tire I know that is going to fit without rubbing just came out. It's the new version of the KDWS from BFGoodrich and the size is 225/30/20. I think they are calling it the profiler.

I wouldn't really recommend putting such tall and narrow rims on your car, but that's up to you. And with those rims that you want, I would hope you are upgrading the brakes. I can imagine putting mills on a car like ours would be cooking the brakes all day long.

yeah those 225/30/20's from tirerack are 330 a piece. But tell ya the truth.. those BFG's KDW are worth the money. They grip far excellent than any tire i've had so far. Those tirerack survey ratings are helpful and almost accurate from what people have reported.

I was flipping through the new B-scene import mag and they had a supra running 305/25/19. They was showing how hard it was to mount at SEMA.

Mounting such a wide tire with such a small sidewall is very similar to mounting a run flat tire. There is almost no play in the sidewall and even the $6,000 machines that we had where I worked didn't help much. Sometimes it would take three to four big guys just to get a tire onto a rim.

I used to hate mounting 22's-24's and any of the newer corvette's with run flat tires.
