i am looking for the newer style center piece that goes front the cup holders to the arm rest, and has the shifter and such in there too, it's the newer ones with the molded in cup holder in front of the arm rest. guru, if you don't mind me using your pic to describe which one i want. if you do mind, i will delete it or you can if you feel so inclined! thank you! this is the one i am looking for the part number:

What is the difference between the '00/'01 cupholders to the '02/'03 cupholders other than the newer cupholders looking better? :D

the pre '02's had a seperate cupholder that was bigger and you could remove, the 02-03's have a molded in cupholder that just looks alot better.

The new part # for this is 88986597 . It comes with the center console piece, the ebrake boot, and THAT IS IT.
You need your old arm rest, and back seat cupholder.

ok.. so they just decided to change the number?? thought maybe the old number had different pieces it came with since you mentioned that in your post too...
