At how many miles should i replace them. How much do you think the dealer would charge to get them and put them in for me, i wanna just get it done when i get my tranny flushed in a few months.

i changed mine around 20k but my stock ones were still fine. i would say do it yourself. it is very easy except for maybe a few in the back. as far as the dealerships goes. dont have them get them for you. they will most likely put oem ones back in. buy some yourself and either do it yourself of go to a reputable shop by you.

the dealer will rape you like a red headed step child

I wanna have em done my a shop because i just feel they can do a better jon then me for sure, especially with the difficult ones in the bcak that i have read about in othe threads too.

yeah they will change them probably about $10-15 for the job if you bring your own to them

I believe it was $50 at the dealer.

As for when to change them. I'd clean them every spring, they should last you 60-100,000 miles.

FYI the dealerships have a tool to pull the engine forwards so they can pull the spark plugs in the rear.

how do you clean them?

Take 'em out and check to make sure they're still in decent condition and there's not a problem with them or your engine. Use some rubbing alcohol and a toothbrush to clean all the carbon buildup off the plug (soap and water would work too). Then check to make sure the gap is correct. Lube up the plugs and reinstall.

There are a lot of symptoms. Rough idle, poor gas mileage, loss of power and misfiring are a few of the common ones.
