This question isn't all that important but I was wondering how many people with 2000 GAs have ever seen their tire pressure light come on. Everyone I know with a 2000 has the light physically on the dash, but even if you go to reset it (like the oil light) it doesn't come on at all. My 99 has it and i know people with 2001+ plus that it works. Maybe it's just a 2000 thing?

99 is the only year the tire pressure light was functional, they had to many problems with it to keep it

i thought i had seen 2001 with it, but my 99 it comes on for stupid reasons (potholes) or for no reason at all. Good, one less light to come on. lol

My 99 SE has it, my 2000 GT doesn't.

Open the fuse panel the drivers side of the dash, there is a red RESET button. Turn the car to the on position (not starting the car). Press the button once, the change oil light should blink, press it again, the tire pressure light should blink, press and hold the reset button till the car chimes. The light should be reset

I have one for each tire on my 03 GT and I have never seen it come on. I am not sure at what pressure it should come on.

the words are still on the cluster for low tire pressure, but that doesn't mean you actually have it. 1999 WAS THE ONLY YEAR HAVING A FUNCTIONAL TIRE PRESSURE MONITOR

And the interior floor lights was a big "fire hazard" so they got rid of it. The ribs on the SE kept "falling off", so they just took them off. lol Oh, and the glove box lock kept on ???????? so they removed it for our own good !

Just having some fun. :heh:
