Driver Seat Switch

what is that switch supposed to do on the side of my driverseat near the door?

move the seat up and down, mines busted.

Mine went out under warranty at about 15k miles, and again at about 55k miles, not replacing it this time, I don't use it. Its already stuck in the "down" position anyways which is where I like it. The wife doesn't like it, but she doesn't drive it enough to worry about it.

yeah mine got stuck a little lower then what i like it but, thats cause i was playing with it like a 2 year old
