Is it possible to, with the magnuson supercharger, get the sc/t or ramar hood, move the battery into the trunk, take my existing ramair parts that are useless now thanks to the supercharger, hook them up somehow to the hood on top of the engine and jury rig some conection to the plugged off old ram air connection in front of the air box? If you could, would there be much of a benefit to the new ram air connection? Would it bring engine temp down?

Nope. The super charger is right in front of where the old ram air inlets are so you can't use any of the old pieces. It uses a new air box lid too so you can't connect a ram air hood to it. I don't know about other hoods, but the SD hood from PFYC hits the SC and requires some trimming of the ramair ducting to fit properly. You could cut off the throttle body heater tubes and it would fit better, then make a custom airbox to draw from the fender and the hood, but it's more trouble than it's worth. You get more engine cooling by cutting out the ducting so both heat extractors work, and a cold air intake would work better than an airbox anyway. More air velocity and colder air. That setup requires the least amount of materials and clutter under the hood, and should also be the cheapest and produce the best results.

Yeah, I'm with Aaron, it is not worth the effort or fabrication. It seems that my ColdAirIntake into the fenderwell works great for me. The CAI also gets rammed with air as I have opened those gills beside the foglights. It is probably the best for getting cold air and sustaining some ramair too. Let me know if you want to see pics. ( Try ... www.americanperformanceofcolorado.com for info on the Cold Air Intake.)

I have the SD Hood like Aaron. You on the other hand have no heat extractors, they look cool and actually perform as well on our cars! But that SC/T hood is very nice as well. Opening up the scoops should give you good cooling as well, those are large nostrils on there!;):)
