Pat, you should buy up another SC so you can have twin screws too! Just think... your transmission would last minutes... and you'd have to leave your hood off...

[edit] I used to have a video to go along with that picture... it was a twin screw vette... probably not the same one though. I'll try to find it.

Hahahahaa....

But as Travolta said in that classic:rolleyes: - Broken Arrow... "Yeah, but ain't it cool?" And also the car would invoke the other classic line.... "Got-DAMN! What a rush!!!"

Perhaps the stupidest film ever. I would love to have the twin screws... but damn it, the engine bay is only so big, probably have to cut the windsheild and firewall to fit the other SC!!!:D

Why don't you just add a turbo to go with your sc'er like all the ricers do

You know how they talk about "performance" stuff while having no clue about it. I've had people in the past tell me that they've seen sc'd turbo civics and stuff.

Well, I was considering the integral NA Electronic blow-off valve...
http://www.nightpager-usa.com/images/bov-na.jpg
That would be TRICK!!!! :thumbs::)

....Not.:nono:

But just imagine the GAGT with the twin screws! Damn, what a head turner. It may be possible, all you would need would be a custom manifold, and a custom mount and shaft for the second SC. Then a full fuel system upgrade. The tranny would of course snap faster than Hillary Clinton on common sense....

I was actually considering getting the blow off thing... and just having it activate at the push of a button
.

roll up to the ricer... start hitting it constantly and make them think i'm just a turd... than well once we got rollin along and they're behind me.. than they'll hear the real blow off goin offf. .. ;)

Only then.... maybe it would be valid. Anyhow it is hard for the Ricers to even hear with their frigging farters and various rattle and buzzing 'mods.'

Anyway, I don't think that this Vette would need anything like this BOV for attention, how many Ricers do you think have challenged him???

Actually, those cars do exist. It's called twin charging and it offers benefits of both systems. Instant response from the SC and efficiency and more boost from the turbo. They are extremely hard to fabricate and tune properly as they are very complicated, but it can be done and they work quite well if done right. I personally have seen magazine pictures and video of an acura integra and a toyota MR2 with this system.

BTW, the MR2 had NOS too... 3 power adders=sick, sick, sick car.

Seriously, would it be soo infathomable to put both an SC and a Turbo on a car? It would take major $$$, but wouldn't twin screws?

Oh, and Pat, you don't have to cut the firewall... you just need a Subaru-esque type bump x 10. That would be sweeeet.

No, it wouldn't be impossible, but it just doesn't happen very often. Like, I seriously doubt that the sc'd and turbo civic that my friend lost to in his celica was really that. There are actually a good number of twin sc'd cars.
