View Full Version : whining noise coming from back tires..??

I have a whining noise that comes from the back tires, passenger side i think, when i drive slowly or turn a corner i can hear it best. also after the car sits over night the back wheels make a woo woo noise when i first take off, but it dont do it once i use the brakes, dont know if the 2 are connected.. kinda sounds like a woo woo woo, anyone else hear this?

Those tires are known to make rubbing noise. I got a new set of tires and the noise went away.

I was just thinking that this could also be a little bit of rust on the rear rotors

possibly down to the tread wear indicator?

I put 50k miles on stock RSA's. Used them until they looked like slicks.
