So my amber overlays look good, but when its nighttime and the light behind the amber is on, you can see the amber behind the over, can i just take these lights out , and just have my turn signal lights on the inside of the headlights???

yes, but its illegal in most states, but i never got pulled over for it.

yeah, easily. Just twist and pull them out. I'm not sure what color your overlays are, but with my black ones you can't see any light through them at all.

they are silver and you can still see light through em, I know its illegal, but oh well, knock on wood!!
So do i just take the bulb out or what?

yep, take the headlight out, twist that particular bulb harness out, rip the bulbs out, throw them away, and put everything back together. That shouldn't cause an SES or any other problem, should it guys?

never did with mine. i just left the harness dangling behing the headlight with a little electrical tape.

when i took the small yellow bulb out of the middle of my headlights, it turned the "service VEHICLE soon" light on, not the SES. so i put the bulbs back in, and left them dangling behind the housing...

why would u take out the yello bulbs in the middle unless u were changing them out.

dude its not that hard.

remove middle bulbs from harness, put new ones in and plug them back in.

maybe u bought the wrong size bulb, if thats what ur talkin about

I put strobes in those holes where the small yellow bulbs were

it works... i also have a set in the red part of my tailights, and a set in the white, backup corner part of the tails... so its flashing from red to white... looks like a cop in the back... sort of :iconfused
