The Body kit is Ok. It could have been better. I have a quote below from my CarDomain. http://www.cardomain.com/id/beastofburden83 is the pics that might help. It is looking better. but it was a lot of work to get it to fit right.
Here is the body kit so far. It is the RK-Sport Body kit. The instructions that came with it were just this side of useless. Nothing fit hole for hole so a lot of modifing had to be done. The 3M tape on the door panels is not holding up like it should but I hope to have all that sorted out soon. Not to mention that the screw bosses were not big enough and the kit came in beaten up (though it is a brand new kit). One thing about it though is that it looks good on this car so far. I have a little bit of work left to do on the front bumper and then it will go back to the paint shop for a final wetsanding.

Way off topic.. But, SC/T02, those TA's look awesome. I love the blue rims on those 99's.

WOW WOW WOW
that changed the look 10 fold.
That kit looks 10 times better than any of the other kits and makes the car look so much more streamlined.
Did Rk give you a discount at all and how much was the paint and install?

How much, length wise, does the kit add to the front and rear bumper?

Thanks for the comments about the TA's. One is an 85TA with the H.O. package and 50,218 miles. The other TA is a 99' WS-6 30th Anniversary edition white and blue car with the Blue wheels, white leather and so on. It is a 6-speed with almost 14,000 miles on it. GMS MAF 92MM intake and TB. Hypertech reprogrammed computer. Skip shift eliminator and a few other goodies like aluminum driveshaft, 3.73 gears and GMMG exhaust on the way. then there is the GAGT. I think I am looking into the Solstice when it comes out. but I am out of garage space so it will be an outside car.
I think the length of the bumpers was increased by 7.3" over stock. I thought that could not be, kinda like a no way but a few guys in the club with GA's agree. I measured it over and over again. Also on the stock GT Springs and 18" wheels the car sits 6.3" off the ground. So you may want to think about the kit if it was lowered. Just for reference most speed bumps I was told are an even 5" off the ground.
Whatever tape they use on the side doors is almost crap. It sticks but the strips to not make full contact with the door. Nothing matched up like where the dimples are to drill the hole was about 3/4" off all the way around the car. It is a good looking kit done though. The back passenger door is molded a little thicker and does not allow me to open the door two notches without it rubbing on the back of the front door.
I got the kit for $900.00 shipped through my very partial sponsorship that they gave me. I got many better deals from other sponsors. Like My Leather Seats. I paid $1,988 or something close to that which makes this about a $3,000 project. I put everything on myself so there was no cost with that. Just a lot of time and work. I have to take it back to the shop on Monday for the final wetsanding and then they paint around the trim on the hood and spoiler for the final touch.
If anyone wants to know more about the kit or anything else just let me know. I took a few pics on how to remove the body panels from the car. It makes me sick to think that I have about $$$ over 10G's in on this car from the crap I have put on it. And I am about 15G's from being done. Check back to my CarDomain often because it will change a little more with some of the current sponsorships I am working with. Again if you want to knwo anything else or need to know the steps on how to do it let me know. it is about a 12.5 hour project if you have never done a body kit before. About 7.5 if you know a lot of what you are doing. I say save teh $350.00 on install and do that part yourself.

Takes about 15hrs of wrok with these guys a week and I hit 10 really big car shows and about 45 throughout the year. If you can do that then you have a good start.

I was looking at my car and others and it looks like the RK Sport's nostroils is just the area that outlines the entrance to on the Stock GT front bumper. (If its hard to figure out where I'm talking about look at the border for grandamgt. and you'll see a indention around the ram air opening)
Am I close on my assumption.
And If that is so why does the front bumber apper to be so far out?
By the way do you know anybody who has this kit on a 4dr silver GA

I followed what you are saying about the GT inlet as a whole (like if you were to put a screen on the outside most part type deal) but it is bigger. The SE bumper is more like what you are talking about (if the grill were to be pulled forward) These inlets are more distinct in curve. The grilles are very large, in fact in one of my pics you can see the white foam support during the test fitting before I painted the foam black. So it is definitely a larger inlet (grill) . The way it sticks out reminds most people of a NASCAR. Looks really good in person (won three trophies at three shows which says a lot by itself since the kit was installed). The kit is real sleek and I was asked what "edition" this kit was because it looks great but looks like something the factory could have run a limited production on.
I think it will help out my CAI also being the bottom is now more open whereas the GT bumper had a cutout around the foglight this kit is open all the way across.

why is the 4-door kit JUST for 3.4 liter engine? how would a body style matter to the engine??? just the exhaust pipes only ocming out of one side? or what.

I'll guess you didn't paint it yourself. How much was it to get it painted. And do you have any pics of the install.
I'm probally going to follow in your footsteps and install the kit myself when I get it around Christmas or my birthday in Jan. Hopefully Rk is still selling it at that time.
Oh and did you know anyone with the kit in silver. I saw the 2 dr in Canada at the car lot. But think it looks alot better in a 4dr. I just wanted to see what it looks like. Or I'll have to be the Guinie Pig with a silver 4 dr.

Hodge, I think you are right about the 3.4L part. I don't think it has anything to do with how the kit fits. You will just have one exhaust side with two exhaust cutouts. I will ask Jim at RK to make sure there is nothing else.
If I am not the only one, then I am one of the only ones with the 4-door kit painted and installed. It was a lot of work to puy the kit on myself but it truned out how I wanted it to. Paint was right about $2,000. But they did the sanding, prep, prime, paint, wetsanding, high speed buffing. You also have to remreber that when you go to get it painted it is about hlaf the car that gets painted which is not real bad. Those 2G's also went to painting the inlets on the hood (SC/T) metallic silver, same with the trim around the spoiler. And they are buffing the entire car for me (about a $400.00 job by itself). If you want quality paint in that amount, the paint alone will be in upwards of $650.00 (unless you have some type of connections)
I have not seen a 4-door in silver. Only the 1 Two-door on the dealer lot pics. You can see my car at www.Cardomain.com/id/BeastofBurden83 to get an idea of how it looks. I do have install pics I have emailed them to two people already to give them an idea of what to do. I can also walk you through it in email.
