ok, I'm thinking of buying 2 subs, and a box, and an amp, and hooking it all up to the stock monsoon. The reason I'm not buying another HU is cause I'm broke as is. K, so I saw this thing on ebay, someone please tell me if it's worth the money, and if not, where I can go for some decent subs, and amp, for under $200. The link is below
Thanx for the help,

Well my two cents would say look for something better. I mean you are going to spend your 200 and might like it a litle at first, but then it will not be much at all, and when it blows shortly down the road you will be out the money all together... Granted I hav enever installed or even heard Legacy, so I do not have much to go on.

they have blow out deals on Rockfordfosgate. You can pick up two 10" Z subs for under 140, and a nice RF amp for about an addational 200. Granted that is not the best line of RF but for the dollar it is good.
Plus the California Profile amps are actually great for your dollar. I have run them before and they were true to their rating, but run them at 4ohms for best results. And drivers the new lightning Audio subs are great! I guy in the club runs 2 10" that hid very very hard. Sorry not sure which line he has, but I believe it is bolt, since the amp is bolt.
I think th ebest advice of all on which to get would be to save a little longer and get something that will last a long time and hit the entire time. :) A few months of saving is worth it!

thanx for the advice. I was originally thinking of getting a bass tube, but then decided against it, in case I wanted to get different subs, or somthing.

The SAS are nice systems, nothing heart pounding, but nice. The Infinity has also gotten high ratings. :) Audiobahan makes some prebuilt boxes that look great and sound good. :) You can pic those up for decent prices.
One of the best low budget sub/box deals are the JL W0 boxes. Those bad boys offer serious slam, for a low price. Check them out too.

would the zeb have the JL sub box things? cause I got a wad of cash laying around, and rather than pay off my credit card, I'd rather make my car sound nice. it's either a sub and box, or an lcd to hook up my ps1.

For $200, I'd go used, to be honest. If you find somebody with good feedback, you'll get a much better peice of equipment for your money that way, especially online.
Just my pennies....

I would tend to agree with AmIGrand. You can find much better. I don't know much about Legacy, but I do know it has a 20 Amp fuse. And I do know you cant draw 240 Watts and put out 800! (something about conservation of energy and matter) I would be surprised if you ever got more than 200 watts from that thing.
Zeb has some pretty good stuff. I also like ikesound.com and sounddomain.com, both have some wicked deals. Also keep looking around for a deal on used.

A customer of mine just picked up a US Amps USA400, the old school one good for 2000 watts, for $325. Sweet deal. Just shop carefully, and you'll be pumpin' in no time!
