okay... I was just wondering if anyone knew the difference between Highway setting and city setting on a radar detector? I'm talking Technical difference. Not ERRR you use one in the city one on the highway der er aahhh hhhaa....

Not sure if this is the answer you wanted, but on the city setting the detector is just not as sensitive to all the signals bouncing around that gives you a false alarm.

Like he said, but mine also cuts down the distance it detects too. So its range is like .5mi instead of a mile. This helps it from picking up bands that are not a threat to ya.

but if I keep her on Highway I should be able to detect radar from further away. Right? However at the same time I will get a lot of detection from street light...etc.
Thats what I figured... just wanted to double check.
