Should I replace my own serpentine belt?
Goodyear said it had some cracks in it and would need to be changed soon. They want 177 bucks to do it. Looks easy to do, if it was not so hard to get to.

you need to remove a bolt that holds the engine as far as i know, Midas replaced mine for 100 $, 177 seems high , dealer i think wanted to charge me 200$

I replaced mine myself 5 months ago...definately worth it, and very easy as long as you have a good set of tools. 177 is pretty high, too.

Its pretty simple, if you can change your own oil you should be able to figure it out. Here is the how to:

After my post I read that over on PFYC abotu the gator accessorie belt. I will be doing it myself I think. I am going to order the power slot rotors and do that also.
Lots to do lately. new belt, rotors, greasing the front bushings.
The worst is my dash is pealing!!! the edge where it tuches the glass is pealing back. You can see under the dash from outside the car on the driver side. I am going to get a small tint strip put down there to cover it and a carpet dash cover to hide it. So, sad.
