what head light bulbs are you using? im looking for the brightest bulbs possible. I have the urge to blind everybody. I already have the PIAA superwhites and they arent bright enough :(

The PIAA Xtreme Whites are brighter then the super white Seth has in his car. I plan on getting Xtreme White 9007's and H3's caus I already have the 194s and as sad as this sounds but they are actually brighter then those ****ty xenon or what ever they are called that I have now in there. In fact my Blazer's are brighter then my headlights because of the xenon.

My headlamps are xanatos (www.kaseilights.com). They are good enough for me.. Here's a pic. those fog light bulbs are the pontiac ones at the time.

Nice, bright lights. I've got Naxon 80/100w 9007s and the 3200 blazers. I'm not going to hijack the thread, so I'll just post links to the pics.

personally, i prefer true hid lights, i love it when i see a bmw or audi driving down the road. i especially love those new bmws with the light in the circle, they look so sick.

http://autosupermart.com/old3/shopcart/solaris/solaris.html

I bought these bulbs but I have heard that some of the ones on ebay are just as good. Just compare the solaris and the ones on ebay and you should be able to find them cheaper:thumbs:

Hey man, I just saw the pic you posted of your Gt at night with 4 lights by the fogs. That looks badasse, how'd you do that?

iceman
09-02-2002, 08:54 AM
Dude you'll need to clarify that question.. don't know exactly what you mean.

Korben
09-02-2002, 11:16 AM
Sorry iceman. In the pic of the grand am at night, there are the headlights, then the two fogs on the outsides then two other lights on the inside by the air dam. What'd you use to do that and how much $?

iceman
09-02-2002, 05:39 PM
They are just additional sets of fog lights.. The first ones I had were Tenzo 500 series (oval), the ones on there now are Tenzo 400 series (more square). They should run about 50 bucks a set.

Korben

Is this legal??

How do you have those interior fogs/the square ones hooked up? Connect to your fog button or is it connected to a remote or just hardwired? Thanks! 1 more thing, and how about the install? Easy, hard, or what?

iceman
09-02-2002, 09:56 PM
Right now they are wired to come on with the fogs... I am isolating them with different switches eventually ( I have been way to busy lately).

I just have mine screwed into the plastic area down there.. take a look and you will see. Installation is the same as adding a set of blazers basically.

Seth, what is the setup you have to your Blazers again? I thought you had them wired through a standalone harness? The stock Fog Wiring will blow with 85w bulbs riiiii ?

Pat

papiogagt
09-03-2002, 09:52 PM
the blazer's come w/ a seperate relay. they are not connected to stock wiring except that you tap into the remote wire to turn the blazer's on w/ the oem switch.

iceman
09-03-2002, 09:59 PM
Yep.. my blazers are wired to a standalone circuit

Rba007
09-07-2002, 11:09 AM
Standalone... So, its something other than the wiring that comes with the blazer's wiring?

iceman
09-07-2002, 03:12 PM
Standalone = like what comes with the blazers (separate relay) ..

as opposed to stock.. blazers directly to stock fog wiring.

Rba007

Gotcha, thanks! Ill be ordering my set...

iceman
09-09-2002, 08:12 AM
those were the ones i got stopped with.. I've had those bulbs in there since I've had the blazers.
